Meet Our Music Director
We’d like to introduce you to our Director, Mitos Andaya Hart. Dr. Andaya Hart has led vocal ensembles in jazz, popular, early music and classical styles in the United States, South Africa, and Australia. She serves as the Associate Director of Choral Activities at Temple University in Philadelphia where she teaches conducting, literature, and directs the Temple University Singers. Dr. Andaya Hart is also the Artistic Director of the Philadelphia chamber choir, PhilHarmonia.
Outside of Philadelphia, she continues to serve as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor for honor choruses, all-state choirs, festivals and workshops both nationally and internationally in Germany, Kenya, the Netherlands, and South Korea. In addition to conducting, Dr. Andaya Hart has several editions and arrangements published through Alliance Music Publications, UNC Jazz Press and Hal Leonard.
